The artist was born September 23, 1952, in Moscow. From 1975 through 1980, he attended the Belarusian Art Academy. Since 1984, he has been living in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. He prefers expressing himself through abstract art. In his attempts to combine composition and painting in a childlike simplicity, which in itself seems paradoxical, he creates unique visual effects. Among his missions is the portrayal of the dramatic effects created by the collision of myriad cosmic energies – a portrayal that is still intent on preserving a positive perspective. His works, which on first sight appear to be random spillages of paint, with due focus on the part of the viewer, are capable of exposing for him or her a new secret world of dimensions.  The artist’s preferred technique uses enamel paints on hardboard with additions of various other elements. His works can be found in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, the United States, Israel and Lebanon.
